I took this photo on a vacation last year to the Lake Placid area. It is taken from the dock of the Mirror Lake Inn. Funnny thing is it looks so peaceful and quiet while just to the left some workman were demolishing a house with heavy equipment. Proof positive that the camera can tell whatever story that the phtographer wants it to tell.

I took this one night before Christmas last year. I hand held this with my 24-105 and ran the zoom back from 105 to 24 mm to get the effect I wanted. I think it’d make a great x-mas card.

The sky was just right and I was in standing on my front lawn … the blue and the pink combined to show me that there is beauty in nature everywhere we look.
